...don't usually warrant a special mention, but tonight's did. It was special for two reasons.
First, I believe that tonight was SN's first Thursday night appearance, good to have you aboard.
Second, it was probably the wildest night that I had ever experienced on top of Winter Hill. The wind was savage. It never actually blew either of us over, but it did seriously impact on any attempt to run in a straight line. We ran to the very end of the tarmac on the mast road, and then turned and visited the trig point, before returning to slightly (only slightly) calmer conditions down in the town.
Wild and exhilarating!
Definitely a night to remember.
