Shepherds Skyline (6m/1150) Saturday 6th Nov 2010

Well an improvement on last years' time but not as much as I'd hoped, disappointingly finished with more in front and less behind. Climbing well (spin classes definitely doing the job) but losing places on the flat stuff. Downhills, well they're just ... downhill.

As for further training requirements, draw the line at one track session a week, so have found the XC spikes and will be making an (un)welcome return to flat mud (at least until xmas) so that I can chase the elusive sub - 50 min 10k. I'd already planned a trip to the lakes next weekend for Dunnerdale on Saturday and Copeland Chase on Sunday, so guest appearance in the Red Rose League the week after, can't wait!!
