Duddon

Weather and ground conditions for Saturday's Duddon races were ideal  and so it was not suprising that  I managed to shave 10 minutes off last year's time.  The catalyst was the company of TF who's advice on route and pacing were invaluable.

From the start we were the tail enders  and the rest of the field of 33 moved rapidly away, disappearing quickly out of sight.  We finished in a little over 3hr 20mins for the 9 miles route, a lot, lot slower than TF's time for last year..

I plan to be UTUPing on Saturday.
