My guess would be that they are Ruddy Ducks. Apparently they are North American imports and are frowned upon by UK ornitholgical purists as they interbreed with our natives (a bit like the GI's during the war). The interbreeding would account for the variations in colour. Can't help with the spectacular geese, but intrigued by the one with the extra long neck in the sixth picture down, an ostrich nearly out of its depth? Anything to add, JtE?
