I have to take SWINW to Bolton tomorrow as she and her sister are off to Welsh Wales for the weekend. So as I am in the area my aim is to be UTUPing on Saturday in the hope that others will join me.

This is the on-line journal of a small ill-defined group of mostly geriatric runners who share a love of the fells. It also covers a sub-group, best described as drinkers with a running problem, who struggle to combine dwindling athletic ability with an increasing thirst for cheap alcohol. A sort of "Last of the Summer Whine" (sic) in Walshes. Posting limited to registered contributors, but comments welcome.

I'm planning to UTUP on the 22nd, but won't be available to drink beer until late on the 29th.
Believe it or not, I am actually planning to show up at the UTUP on Saturday morning, however as I have had a five month lay off I'm not expecting to be with you for very long. Will be good to catch up though!
